We are very pleased to share the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD) recent announcement of the launch of the new PISA Global Competence Framework, which will form the basis for the 2018 PISA assessment.
PISA tests currently compare reading, maths and science amongst secondary school age students, and as of 2018 they will also test global competence in around 80 countries, with the results published in 2019.
Global competency is the examination of local, global and intercultural issues and understanding the views of others around the world.
We have contacted OECD and are hoping to set up a workshop on the new Framework for our network in early 2018. More information to follow.
