Government-funded free training

Teachers and schools that are signed up to the Global Learning Programme England (GLP-E) have access to free training on approved courses. Think Global’s training has been approved by the GLP-E – therefore those teachers who are signed up to the GLP-E can access our fully-funded training – worth £500 per teacher – at no cost to their school.

The GLP-E is building a national network of like-minded schools committed to equipping their students to make a positive contribution to a globalised world.

The GLP-E helps teachers in Primary, Secondary and Special schools to deliver effective teaching and learning about development and global issues at Key Stages 2 and 3.

To find out more about the GLP-E, visit the GLP-E website.

If your school is already part of the GLP-E and you want to take advantage of the funding to join a Think Global course at no cost to your school, you can contact us by emailing schools@think-global.org.uk.  Alternatively if your school wishes to sign up to the GLP please visit the GLP-E website.

As the Government has entered ‘purdah’ before the forthcoming General Election any decision about the future of the Global Learning Programme has been put on hold for the time being.

We will, of course, share any news about the programme as soon as we have it. Meanwhile we encourage schools to sign up to the programme so they can benefit from free training, guidance, resources, and funded CPD.
