Think Global worked extensively with Bond during 2015 to deliver training for International NGOs.
This course aimed to give participants a clear understanding of UK public attitudes towards international development, improve their ability to analyse current communications, and provide them with practical communication tools to strengthen UK public engagement with their organisation’s issues. It also built participants’ skills for influencing communication change within their organisation.
A mix of the latest research, group based discussion, and practical exercises helped participants to understand, analyse and develop their communications to build greater public engagement for their issue and organisation.
This course was ideally suited to people who directly communicate with the UK public and those who wanted to build greater engagement with their organisation and issues.

Think Global and Bond first delivered the Building New Responses training courses for the NGO sector in 2015. The main output of the course was the Building New Responses toolkit. This is something that was developed by the participants, and can be used by anyone working in INGOs to develop their understanding of this issue. It’s a simple, practical starting point to engage with this topic area.
This resource is the output of a DEEEP ‘Transformational Communication’ workshop in Brussels. This was a two day conference, and global education experts from across Europe attended. We were looking at how we frame international development, and discussing ideas and solutions to improve our communications about development, and make it truly ‘transformational’.
A ‘Transformational Communication for Global Justice’ toolkit has been produced.
