As the Development Education Association for Wales, Cyfanfyd, through its broad membership base, is the leading advocate of development awareness in Wales. There are a number of organisations in Wales involved in development education, across the three sectors of formal education, youth work and lifelong learning. Cyfanfyd was established in 1991 as a forum for sharing information and disseminating good practice amongst these organisations.
