Think Global welcomes two new Trustees

Think Global’s Board of Trustees co-opted two new Trustees, Hilary Thornton and James Luger, to its board this week from a field of high quality candidates for the roles.

Hilary previously served on Think Global’s Advisory Council and brings a wealth of expertise from a background in international development and previously as teacher, manager and researcher in education. As a consultant, Hilary also brings experience having worked with a number of international development agencies, large NGOs and Foundations. Hilary believes that creative and critical thinking set in a global context supports education at its best.

Jamesbrings an understanding of policy to the board, currently James works for Ofgem as policy lead for sustainable development, climate change adaptation and environmental policy and has been involved in policy development over many years. James also brings an understanding of education for sustainable development. As a qualified and experienced teacher and tutor James also has a long standing commitment to education for sustainable development and global citizenship.
