Draft Consultation Document: Global Thinking System for Schools
Think Global has been exploring ways to build on
As part of this, we have been working on our ‘global thinking system’, which offers primary and secondary schools the broad brushstrokes of a whole school approach to global thinking. The system is designed to be a simple and accessible starting point for schools and looks at what it means to be a ‘global thinking teacher,’ ‘global thinking student’ and ‘global thinking leader.’ It also emphasises the important interrelationships of these 3 elements, and signposts readers to a range of other resources and approaches to help them.
Currently, these guidelines are in a DRAFT format, and we would welcome your feedback and comments before they are finalised. The document can be accessed here. The consultation period will be from 17th October to the 16th November, including an opportunity for members to share their comments during a workshop at the Think Global AGM on Thursday 8th November.
