Social mobility and global learning

Sarah Williams, Head of Programmes and Partnerships at Think Global attended Westminster Education Forums ‘Next steps for raising educational attainment and improving social mobility in England.’. Here she provides an overview and shares her thoughts on the event.

Local funding opportunities

Grants are available to community groups in Mid Sussex District and South Yorkshire for projects that support community activity or engage young people in ongoing regular volunteering.

Start the Change research findings

As part of our Start the Change project we interviewed students and teachers about these issues. The findings raise interesting questions around ways of supporting teachers to create safe spaces for discussing often difficult and controversial topics.

Measuring our impact

Think Global are working with New Philanthropist Capital on a project to measure our impact. Our aim is to raise the profile of global learning amongst funders and educators, as well help us to learn what we do well and where we can improve.
