The DEA has set up an email discussion among initial teacher education (ITE) tutors to develop a set of best practice indicators on global perspectives in ITE. John Huckle argues that development education should abandon the unhelpful rhetoric of global perspectives and dimensions and start to give related critical theories of global citizenship and education the serious attention they deserve.
