Global learning – a pedagogical challenge for Austrian NGOs

Global learning potentially comprises a vast range of content, too much for any individual to absorb. Helmuth Hartmeyer suggests that the subject matter should not be prescribed by NGOs, but should come from the concerns, interests and experiences of the learners. Only then will it be an exercise of cooperation and solidarity and a dialogue of emancipation.
