Competencies for global learning

Jurgen Rost acknowledges that merely connecting or transmitting themes relevant to global education, such as the Millennium Development Goals, global trade and matters of justice, does not necessarily influence behaviour or bring about a more just world. He suggests a framework of competencies which may be needed for people to come to grips with complex development issues, and to behave in a more sustainable way.
