Student activity on extremism

New residential course

Very last chance to join our exciting residential training course using GLP e-credits

Join Think Global to learn more about how to start up intercultural and peace-building initiatives with young people, aimed at preventing radicalisation and developing sensitivity and mutual appreciation. On 2-4 November, teachers across England can join an in-depth residential course in London exploring active global citizenship, communications and connections to counter radicalisation and extremism.

The workshop-style course aims to help teachers to start up in-school projects with young people that create safe spaces for dialogue at school, develop student voice and support key school agendas such as SMSC and British Values. There are limited number of places available for GLP schools who use their GLP e-credits.

Find out more and register. Register by Friday 20th October to secure your place. There are only a few spaces left.

This training is part of our Start the Change project. We are working with teachers and school students to understand young people’s views on identity, diversity and extremism, and supporting them to build ideas and spaces for developing and promoting a more cohesive society.  We will soon be sharing the results of our research which investigated young people’s views on these issues, so look out for updates!

Register directly for the residential on the GLP website.
