Tzedek is the UK Jewish community’s response to extreme poverty. We fund small projects in Africa and India, regardless of race or religion; we send volunteers to Ghana to intern at NGOs and volunteer in the community; and we educate the UK Jewish community about global issues and our Jewish responsibility.

We fund sustainable projects in developing countries that enable people to learn new skills and projects that improve their knowledge-base, so that they can sustain themselves financially.

Tzedek educates the Jewish community to take action; we run a school partnership programme that builds relationships between the UK and Ghana and we provide free education resources that build awareness.

Tzedek works with Jewish schools, synagogues and youth movements to educate on global issues through a Jewish perspective. This is done through training teachers, providing free lesson plans and resources, facilitating sessions directly and out schools partnership programme.
