Development Direct is an independent charitable organisation that faciliatate school links between NE England and Africa, provide support for local teachers to help make these links meaningful; develop project work initially around health issues but then broaden this to other areas of the curriculum, eg citizenship if requested; liason with local authorities to support schools; develop links between health groups in UK and Africa.
