Communications, connections and active global citizenship to counter radicalisation and extremism

This course aims to support teachers to start up intercultural and peace-building initiatives with young people, aimed at preventing radicalization and developing sensitivity and mutual appreciation.

This is a residential course in London with two nights’ accommodation and subsistence included in the cost, along with all course materials and tuition.

The course will be workshop style with 30 participants.  20 participants are from our Start the Change hub of schools from London and North East England, and there are 10 additional places available for teachers from GLP registered schools, using e-credits.

The trainers  are Kate Jones and Sarah Williams from Think Global, Manju Nair from Humanities Education Centre and Rich Hurst from Durham County Council.
