Training on building resilience in children and young people.
Learn techniques to help children cope with challenges and conflicts in their lives. This primary sector course is suitable for school staff and others working in similar fields.
The main aim of the Robust-Ed Resilience programme is improved wellbeing for children and young people, measured by academic results.
Other benefits include:-
- improved school attendance
- less disruptive behaviour
- improved relationships between schools and parents
- less sick leave amongst school staff.
The courses will be led by Gill Allen, who is a clinical specialist working in Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service and is also a trainer for the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust.
