Global Citizens in Turbulent Times

4 May 2017, London

Join together with young people, teachers and global citizenship practitioners to explore “Global citizens in turbulent times”

In its 75th year Oxfam continues to work with young people in schools by resourcing education for global citizenship. We aim to equip learners for critical and active engagement with the challenges and opportunities of life in a fast-changing and interdependent world.

Teachers and young people involved in Oxfam’s Youth Ambassador Groups and the European Union funded Schools For Youth project will highlight the project’s ability to build partnerships between teachers and young people, with a focus on the approach and ways of working, particularly on soft skill development and real world learning.

The day will include presentations and a panel discussion from special guests and educators active in the field of global citizenship education, sharing from practitioners and a youth-led workshop.
