Egypt and Mesopotamia Conference 2017

4 March 2017, London

A one-day conference for sixth-formers and their teachers, free to attend, on studying Egypt and Mesopotamia at University.

  • Travel bursaries are available for students at state schools
  • The event will include sample lectures, gallery tours at the British Museum, and the chance to meet current students
  • There will also be the opportunity to meet representatives from the subject area at many different Universities (at least eight will be represented on the day).

The event is organised by the Division of Archaeology, University of Cambridge, in partnership with the Royal Asiatic Society and the British Museum. It is sponsored by the London Centre for the Ancient Near East.  Address any queries to: Dr Martin Worthington (mjw65@cam.ac.uk).
